These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Future Find’s website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services

Future Find helps users discover and engage with opportunities such as internships, research positions, scholarships, and volunteering. Features may include waitlist signup, personalized recommendations, and tools to track your progress. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with applicable laws.

3. Your Account

You may need to provide accurate information (such as your name and email) to use certain features. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at rur@future-find.org if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ accounts, or data
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the Services without our written consent
• Upload malware, harass others, or interfere with the operation of the Services
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or submit false information about opportunities or applications

5. Third-Party Opportunities and Links

The Services may surface or link to third-party employers, schools, programs, or websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services, including branding, design, text, graphics, and software, are owned by Future Find or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular outcome (for example, receiving an internship or scholarship) from using the Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Find and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for claims arising from the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), if you have not paid us.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Future Find and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms other users or us. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Future Find operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where prohibited by applicable law. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, unless otherwise required by law.
